A Message from our Founder & CEO, Mana Thome
NEW YEAR and NEW GOALS for Polynesian Underground
The New Year is a great time to resolve to making new commitments to yourself, your family, and your future. We at Polynesian Underground have made the same commitments to ourselves and also to YOU, our fans and loyal community.
In this New Year we have resolved to increase the quality of our events by increasing our base and genre of musicians. We have welcomed acts like Mojo Moran (from Morgan Heritage), DJ Nehemiah Clark, HI Roots, and others into our Ohana as we progress in this direction of bringing you a variety of music and culture.
We have also committed to new goals to expand our outreach to other locations outside of California and the Islands to include places like Arizona, Texas and Colorado.
We've resolved to increase our support to our artists by offering genuine Artist Management as well as Music Publishing and Merchandise licensing on a broader scale. We initiated these efforts in 2011 with plans to expand our list of artists in 2012. As many of you may have noticed, HI Roots, one of our charter Management members, is making a great huge splash in the music community and expanding their fan base each day. We are excited to work with them and other PlyUnderground artists and we hope you look out for them in concerts coming your way!
Yet, with all of these changes and new goals, we have also committed to continue our grassroots effort to believe in the power of "Ohana", the joys and good vibrations of friendship and the concept of "One Love", based on the spirit of "Aloha!"
To that end we want to thank all of YOU for your continued support as we get through the changes and challenges related to our growth and expansion. We hope you like our new website, and we are committed to continue to improve that method of communication to assure YOU are kept in touch with all that is Polynesian Underground.
